* kit's dit

(A lady I know whom I sometimes call Kitty
Is mostly to blame for inspiring this ditty.)

Now how can I possibly help bein smitten?
Yer three times as cute as a half ton of kitten
No wonder I can't understand yer complexity
I can't hardly think straight cos yer so dam sexity

I should be more patient and sit here and listen
But why be conversin when we could be kisten?
I'm tryin to be cool and to practice restraint-
Let's face it, real suave, smooth and charmin I ain't

But one of these days when you stop sayin nosir
I know you'll be glad that you cuddled up closir
Cos sometimes I may seem inept as I woo ya
But once we stop talkin you'll shout hallelooya!

Well thanks much fer listenin, and thanks much fer bein,
And thanks most fer laffin,
Yer lovin friend,
Ian
