If you’re lucky, you have grandchildren, and they have lots of questions. If they’re lucky, they’ll have grandchildren of their own, and those grandchildren will have questions, too. |

Much as we’d like to, we can’t guarantee a good life for them, we can’t protect them from all harm, and we can’t answer all their questions for them. But if we work together, we can have something to say about what those questions will be. We’re the American Friends of Nature, and we work to protect our grandchildren’s environment through land acquisition, public awareness and political action, to assure that future generations of Americans have a beautiful natural world to grow up in. Because we don’t want anyone’s grandchildren to ever ask: “Grandma, what’s a tree?” |
