Riding around all these construction sites, I had to get a flat
eventually. I thought I was having a bad day, but as I limped home...

...I came upon this mishap on US 301, and realized I wasn't having
a bad day at all. (It looked like everybody got out, but still they
lost more than a bicycle tire.)

Things like that happen to me often—little reminders of how lucky
I am. After all, I got to ride my bike around taking pictures of construction
sites and cows and call it homework.
Oh, and I get to live in a place that has sunsets like this.
